Versko spin-out vQueue product into new company

Versko today completed the spin-out of a new company vQueue Limited. The new company will develop, market and support the vQueue product.

A funding round of £250k has been secured to develop a production version of the early prototypes designed by Versko in 2006.

The new company will launch a new website in September 2008 (vqueue.co.uk) which will contain more information about the first product.

vQueue is a software product that manages peak loads on web systems by placing users in a queue only allowing access to the target system when capacity becomes available. The benefits to customers are in maintaining a service during extreme load which protects revenue streams, maintains service levels and enhances customer satisfaction. Initial interest has come from the the Ticketing, Gaming and Betting, and Commerce sectors.
